BeatLab (Brand Identity)

BeatLab, a workshop under MUSE:IQUE, embodies the belief that live music should be accessible to all. Designed for those with no prior experience in playing instruments or reading music, it proves that music doesn’t require expensive tools—just creativity and a willingness to explore. Using everyday objects, participants experience the joy of making music together in a fun and inclusive environment.

In designing BeatLab’s identity, I aimed to visually capture this sense of exploration and playfulness. Through vibrant colors, dynamic typography, and experimental graphics, the design invites participants into an engaging space where music and creativity intersect. The system reflects the essence of BeatLab—an open, inviting, and expressive platform for everyone.

InstallationAn interactive pre-workshop experience that introduces visitors to the music-making process. By selecting objects, AI generates music based on their choices, while responsive patterns, created using p5.js, move in sync with the sound—offering a glimpse into the workshop’s creative exploration

Poster SeriesTo make music more intuitive and visually expressive, I developed a graphic system that introduces a new take on music notation. By merging rhythmic patterns, everyday objects, and abstract elements, the poster reflects the experimental nature of BeatLab and its mission to make music accessible to all.

WebsiteBuilt with p5.js, the BeatLab website lets users create beats by pressing keys to play sounds from everyday objects. This interactive experience transforms the ordinary into music, reinforcing the workshop’s hands-on, experimental spirit.
